Does Elliptical Exercise Cause Stomach Muscles to Enlarge?
The elliptical, also known as the cross-trainer, is a great low-impact alternative to running. Similar to a cross-country skiing machine, the elliptical involves moving foot pedals back and forth in a circular type motion while simultaneously moving the arms. The aerobic exercise can help you lose weight for a slimmer physique and flatter tummy. Since the machine doesn’t load the tummy muscles with weights and helps you lose fat, it should not cause stomach muscles to enlarge.
