Is the Elliptical Good for Losing Weight?

Elliptical trainers are aerobic exercise machines in which you pump pedals against the machine’s resistance and, on some versions, you can also move handles back and forth for a more intense workout. As with other aerobic machines — such as exercise bikes and treadmills — elliptical machines are efficient tools to help you lose weight. The number of calories you burn depends on the machine’s settings and how intensely you work out.
